EuroBasket Tournament success for Jessica

Congratulations to Jessica Bartlett, Year 7, who competed in the Easter EuroBasket Tournament in Prague.

The U14 Girls’ basketball team comprised of players from Bristol, Exeter and Torbay basketball clubs from the South West of England region.

The girls played teams from Dubai, Germany, Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Spain. They finished the tournament in fourth place, narrowly missing out on the final with only one basket separating the teams.

Jessica will take this valuable playing experience and continue to train with U13 and U15 Aspire South West of England squads.

Ciara Bartlett, Year 11, competed at the Tournament two years ago and was a great role model this year, accompanying the team as assistant coach.
