Success for Arabella at local pony show

Congratulations to Year 1 pupil, Arabella Rogers, for her recent success at a local pony show in Staddiscombe on the 28^th April.

In the Best Grass Kept showing class Arabella came second on her pony Suzie. She then had a storming success in the “Utility” just for fun classes, coming second in the Most Appealing Eyes and Fastest Carrot Muncher which was a very close contest.

Arabella and her pony then claimed first place in the Biggest Ears, the Prettiest Mare and Fancy Dress which gained her three red rosettes, three medals and more importantly for her, three Easter eggs!

This meant Arabella was in the Utility ring championship against all other winners for a “Supreme Champion”. She achieved second place, and the prize was a packet of popcorn, a very large rosette, a blue sash for her pony and some carrots for Suzie to eat. Arabella was very kind and shared her winnings with her sister Beatrice afterwards.
