PLYMOUTH College Pentathlete Annabel Denton claimed a personal best on her Great Britain debut at the second World Biathle Tour event of the year in Portugal.
Annabel Denton improved her previous best score by 17 seconds to take sixth in the Youth D girls in 4.38 minutes. At the end of the swim she was in third Place!
This was the first overseas event for Annabel – the event consisted of a continuous run-swim-run with different distances for each age group.
New Plymouth College Pentathlon coach Michal Janca said “Annabel has done exceptionally well this summer, Plymouth College has an exceptional Modern Pentathlon programme, and I am really looking forward to working with these talented athletes.”
