City of Plymouth Speech and Drama festival
Plymouth College students have had great success in the City of Plymouth Speech and Drama festival, in addition to taking Grades 4 and 5 LAMDA exams. Freya Waters was selected for an overall special award and named as most promising student aged 12-18 and received a trophy in a special presentation.
First Place: Freya Waters ‘Television Newsreader’ and ‘Sight Reading’ class, Thomas Wynne ‘Verse Speaking’ class, Sienna Rose Vigus Huggins ‘Solo Acting 11yrs and under’ category.
Second Place: Thomas Wynne ‘Television Newsreader’ class, Poppy Vernon ‘Sight Reading’ class, James Webb ‘Bible Reading’, Freya Waters and Poppy Vernon ‘Monologue Acting’ class, Sophie Watson and Georgia Trathen ‘Musical Theatre’ category, Rafi Rudge 'Verse Speaking' class.
Third Place: Poppy Vernon ‘Verse Speaking’ and ‘Musical Theatre’ class.
