Ben Miller, Year 11, has started the 2019 national trampolining competitive season in fine form.
Two weeks ago he took the silver medal in the qualifying event for the English Championships in the 15-16yrs age group. The top 16 trampolinists, nationally in each age group, compete in the championships which are held in September.
This weekend, Ben competed in the key British Championships qualifier. Qualification to the British Championships depends upon hitting a specified performance score. Ben was the only one of the twelve 15-16yrs boys who hit the given scores for his age group. This automatically qualifies Ben to the British Championships, also held in September, and he gained another silver medal in the process.
