Ben Miller, Year 11, competed at the weekend at the second of two trampolining national championship qualifying events.
Ben already made it through to the British Championships, held in September, based on his performance last month. This weekend’s competition was an attempt to achieve the qualifying scores to be selected for the Great Britain trampoline squad to compete in the World Championships for his age group, held in Japan later this year.
His best score was within 2 points of the score needed but unfortunately, not enough for selection. It does however place him 15th in the world in his age group based on last year’s world championship scores! Ben will next be competing in events in September, when he has the English Championship and British Championships.
