Whilst we prepare for our Remembrance Service here at School on Wednesday, many of the Plymouth College community were involved in Acts of Remembrance around the South West on Sunday.
Emily (L6), who is a Corporal in the Plymouth College CCF has for many years helped her neighbour, an elderly veteran, to the Act of Remembrance at the memorial in her village. This year was no exception and despite the rain, she proudly donned her CCF uniform and helped her neighbour once again to ensure that they were both able to pay their respects.
Emily has a military heritage that goes back generations in her family and we are delighted to be able to share with you, by kind permission of the family, this fantastic photograph of her grandfather along with his six brothers who all served in some capacity during the Second World War.
