We're so proud to say that 6 of our pupils have gained recognition with Swim England .
Year 9 pupil Ollie has been named as a part of the Swim England Talent Team. Swim England’s talent team engaged with more than 600 youngsters during the coronavirus pandemic and has chosen the squad from these swimmers.
Maisie, James, Elijah, Bea and ex-pupil and alumni Reid have been called up to the Swim England Junior Squad. They are included in the 71 swimmers that have been selected for the squad and they will attend a number of online camps which aim to turn them into the stars of the future.
Swim England said, "a 'healthy blend of existing talent and promising potential’ has been chosen for the Swim England National Junior Squad for the 2020-21 season. The first camp will take place at the beginning of December and further online camps will take place in the new year until coronavirus restrictions have been lifted which allows for the resumption of competitive activity.
We wish them all the best of luck as they progress further in their swimming careers.
