Plymouth College is delighted to collaborate with Plymouth Argyle Football Club on our new High-Performance Football partnership, set to commence in September 2025. This exciting initiative formalises and strengthens the longstanding ties between our two esteemed institutions, creating an unparalleled opportunity for aspiring young footballers.

The core aim is to enable talented pupils to pursue a demanding football career pathway while simultaneously benefiting from a first class academic education here at Plymouth College. We are proud that this partnership builds on a legacy that includes notable alumni such as former Argyle Goalkeeper Michael Cooper and current Plymouth Argyle Owner, Simon Hallett.

Professional Coaching & Facilities

Pupils enrolled in the High Performance Football Programme will receive the highest calibre of football coaching, delivered by experienced UEFA licensed coaches from Plymouth Argyle Football Club. This ensures access to professional expertise and cutting edge training methodologies designed to develop each individual’s technical skills, tactical understanding and physical conditioning.

All training sessions will take place at Foulston Park, Argyle’s brand new, state-of-the-art academy facility. This exceptional environment has professional standard pitches and and resources, allowing young players to hone their talents and fully prepare them for the demands of a potential career in football.
