Newnham Park, courtesy of Mr and Mrs Cobbold, was again the magnificent venue for the House Cross Country event.
Involving the whole school, students ran 2.5K (Years 7 and 8), 4K (Years 9 and 10) or 5K (Year 11 to U6). With everyone who crossed the finish line scoring points for their House, this year Palmers took the top spot with Dales in 2nd, Sargents 3rd and Chaytors 4th.

Special mention must go to Poppy Tank in the Upper Sixth, who was the fastest athlete on the day, and smashed the girls’ course record by a very impressive 1 minute 24 seconds!
