It was a sunny but cold day when the U11 and U10 netball teams took on Stover School.
In the U11s match, the teamwork between Poppy Tank (goal attack and centre) and Heloise Wormleighton (goal shooter and goal attack) was particularly effective. Heloise consistently caught Poppy’s bullet-like passes as they flew down the court and with her shooting on form, helped to secure an emphatic 11-5 win. The rest of the team supported well with Priscilla Alao (goal keeper), Phoebe Ham (goal defence), Melissa Kuo (wing defence), Olivia Lazenby (centre and wing attack), Brooke Holt (wing attack and goal shooter) and Sophie Miller (wing defence).
Harmony Rump (centre and goal attack) and Melodie Cherrington (wing attack and centre) gave very strong performances in the U10 match. However, the whole team played exceptionally well and dominated the Stover side. The final score of 8-2 very reflected this. The other team members were Lauren Reed (goal keeper), Molly McHugh (wing defence), Natasha Spiers (goal shooter), Libby Day (wing attack), Olivia Walker (goal defence) and Freya Lam (wing defence).
