As part of their ‘Looking for signs of Spring’ project, Year 1 took a trip across to Cornwall on the Cremyll Ferry to Mount Edgcumbe Country Park.
Following the Camellia Trail, the children were able to enjoy looking at the daffodils and all the green leaves on the plants, shrubs and trees around the park.
They took in the spectacular views to Plymouth from the folly, had a picnic on the pebble beach and fed the ducks by the pond.
After a stroll through the Italian garden and a quick stop at the canons, they finished the day with an icecream at the Orangery before getting the ferry back to Plymouth.
