The infants at Plymouth College Preparatory School had a good incentive for their sports day – all the children were rewarded with an icecream afterwards!
With the sun shining, the event involved all the children from Kindergarten up to Year 2. Races included flat, sack, ball and spoon, obstacle and relays, and there was a special teddy bear race for Kindergarten. There were bronze, silver and gold ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and certificates were given out the next day in a special assembly for those who came first.
The Parents’ Association provided cream teas for the spectators. A fun day was had by all.
