George Mitchell, 15, has come second in the junior section of the English Clay Pigeon Shooting Open. This follows his win as part of a team of three who were crowned South West Junior Champions in 2008.
Having taken up the sport 18 months ago, George is a member of Newnham Park Shooting Club and travels round the country to competitions with his Grandad, who also shoots. Currently in the Colt (U16) category, George will move up to the Junior (U21) category after his next birthday.
Next up is the British Open later this year and hopefully the Worlds in 2010.
