Plymouth College enjoyed a successful weekend in their block of fixtures against Exeter School.
The First XV recorded a tight victory in Exeter, taking their opponents unbeaten record in the process. Exeter, looking like the 'form' side in the region, struggled to shake off a tenacious but injury-ravaged Plymouth side. The final result of 20-19 represented a great return for the endeavour showed by the players.
The Second XV and Under 15s (right) also enjoyed the taste of victory and both followed up the wins of the weekend with good mid-week results against Truro College and Torquay Boys Grammar respectively.
The First XV progressed to the semi-final of the Devon Cup with a workmanlike 27-0 performance against Exmouth CC. They are one game away from consecutive finals and the chance to defend the title they won last year.
