The U13 boys' hockey team got the season off to a triumphant start with a 7-0 win over Torquay Grammar School.
Despite the bad weather, Plymouth College dominated from the start. The home match saw excellent performances all round with captain, Ben Pearson, scoring four goals.
The use of formations also played a big part in the team's success - formations have recently been introduced by new coach, Matt Bell, and were used for the first time in this match.
The team hope to repeat their winning performance in their next match against Truro.
