Plymouth College Preparatory School pupils have raised £992.57 for Marie Curie by growing pots of mini daffodils.
Part of the Marie Curie 'Mini Pots of Care' initiative, the children planted their bulbs back in November and got sponsorship from friends and family for growing the daffodils.
After decorating their pots and having lessons on daffodils and the work of Marie Curie, the pupils celebrated their blooms with a 'Wear something yellow' day and put their pots of daffodils on display in the school chapel.
"It was fantastic to see the chapel filled with so many pots and flowers", said Headmaster, Chris Gatherer. "The children have been able to learn a lot from looking after and growing the daffodils while raising money for a very good cause at the same time. I am very proud of them"
