The weather was none too kind to the athletes taking part in this year's Senior Sports Day but spirits and performances failed to be dampened by the heavy drizzle.
Julia Hayes was awarded the Victrix Ludorum and Josh Tolan received the Victor Ludorum for their winning performances in the 100m. Julia also set a new senior girls' record for the 200m in a time of 27 seconds.
Other strong performances came from Georgina Barrington, who broke the senior girls' record for both shot putt (9.20m) and discus (27.14m), and George Stephenson, who took the senior boys' shot putt title with an impressive 9.54m.
Dales came out on top scoring 358 points to lift the House team trophy. Palmers were second on 309 points, with Chaytors and Sargents very close behind on 298 and 296 points respectively.
