The hockey fixture against Truro is always a good one as it is very competitive for both schools.
The 1st team must be commended for their best performance this season. It all came together and Truro did not know what hit them! The pressure was constant, with their post being struck twice and even the cross bar. The final score was 3-1 to Plymouth College, but could have easily been more.
The 2nds and U14s both drew in very close games and although they lost 2-0, the U13s put out a very spirited performance and played nice hockey. The U15s also lost but by their narrowest margin this season and Miss Tremaine was delighted with their overall performance.
The U12s played a very entertaining and nail-biting game, showing skills beyond their years. They led for most of the game but lost 4-5, a game in which a draw would have been a fairer score.
A really pleasing weekend and the hockey staff felt that all teams played some of the best hockey this season.
