Just before half term Plymouth College's music department hosted its annual Guitar Evening in the Meade-King Hall. The audience was treated to a very wide range of music played by both students and teaching staff.
The evening, like all department concerts, had an informal feel with the audience seated at tables enjoying their drinks. The music ranged from Catalan folk music, and major guitar repertoire by Tarrege to The Fray, Fleetwood Mac and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
"I would like to pass on my thanks to the staff, Miss Alison Smith and Mr and Mrs Zalick, who teach and coach the individual performers and groups," said Director of Music, David Green. "Special mention must go to Dr Norris who gives much of his free time for the School of Rock.
"Next up is the Piano evening on the 26th February, which promises to be an equally entertaining evening."
