The Piano Evening is now in its third year and is one of the main fixtures in the Performing Arts calendar. The audience enjoyed a packed programme which featured twenty one different pianists and nine pianos in a circle.
Performers ranged from Keith Wong, a senior music scholar, to the Headmaster, Dr Wormleighton, who played his one note ostinato with flair. Dr Wormleighton was also joined by volunteers (all non-pianists) from the audience who took part in a piece created for the occasion. The evening was rounded off with two multi-piano performances featuring nine pianists.
