Plymouth College has bounced back from Daily Mail disappointment to win the Kelly 10s. The U18s were back in action at the Kelly College tournament and in spite of the understandable fatigue still in evidence after a gruelling weekend of travelling and rugby, showed true character to put in some high quality performances against their opponents.
Plymouth won four matches against DHS, Exeter School, Torquay Boys GS and Shebbear. They endured one glitch en route against Kelly, but secured the title on points difference overall.
The team should take great heart from their achievements, especially in light of how this represented a true squad effort and an opportunity for those who didn't play the previous weekend to show their quality. The U18s and U16s go to the West of England 7s this coming Sunday (10th March).
