Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic day in the bright sunshine on Plymouth's seafront. They began the day by exploring the Elizabethan House on the historic Barbican. The children had great fun dressing up in Tudor costumes and comparing their own homes with the different rooms of the Elizabethan House.
They then walked up to the Hoe stopping to look at the statues of Sir Francis Drake and the Armada memorial. The children enjoyed a picnic lunch looking at the fabulous view out to sea and then had an ice cream. In the afternoon they went up Smeaton's Tower climbing all 93 steps to the top!
