Who did Princess Annabella of Cornwall marry? One of the many pantomime characters who came to seek her hand in marriage, or the evil Lord Millfield who wanted to become the ruler of Cornwall and all its people?
‘Annabella’ was this year’s Christmas entertainment from Years 5 and 6 pupils at Plymouth College Preparatory School. The play was a modern re-telling of ‘The Taming of The Shrew’ and even William Shakespeare himself made an appearance.
Seventy pupils from the school were involved in the pantomime which included stunning costumes, creative backdrops and even some ABBA songs!
Headmaster and Director, Chris Gatherer, said: “The show was great fun with all the children putting their hearts and souls into their performances. As ever, the theatre was full to capacity for both performances and along with the Carol Service a few days later, we raised £533.13 for the NSPCC.”
