
Championship football team, Crystal Palace, made the most of Plymouth College’s close proximity to Home Park by using the school’s sports field for a training session in advance of their evening match against Plymouth Argyle.
Led by manager, Neil Warnock, the London team were put through their paces for more than an hour on what proved to be the warmest day of the year so far. Had it not been half term, their practice would have undoubtedly drawn a large group of spectators from the school.
That evening, Crystal Palace went onto beat Argyle 3-1 – their first win after a run of four defeats.
