Kevin Vandabona, Year 7, has clinched a bronze medal in a Devon and Cornwall table tennis tournament. With 42 competitors in the U13 category, Kevin just lost out in the semi-final but won the play-off to take the bronze medal.
Kevin took up table tennis about two years ago and since moving to Plymouth from Southampton in the New Year, he has been playing at Woolwell Table Tennis Club. Through illness, he had to withdraw from the England U13 trials after the first round this year but hopes to try again in 2010.
