A double century partnership saw Plymouth College 1st X1 defeat Truro School by 137 runs.
Centurians, Tom Watkins and George Stephenson, batted intelligently and it was a race to see who would reach one hundred first. Despite a slight wobble on 99, Tom got there first before being run out on the fourth ball of the last over for 115. George continued to dispose of loose deliveries at will and finished unbeaten on 116.
Chasing 299-3, Truro started batting in earnest but to no avail. With the overs running out, Ollie Mulberry destroyed the stumps, twice, to dismiss Truro for 162.
