The Infant Sports Day at Plymouth College Preparatory School was held on the final Friday of the first half term. The weather was wonderful and all the children from Kindergarten up to Year 2 performed brilliantly. Each child ran a straight race and then either a sack, ball and spoon or obstacle race.
The Kindy did their traditional "Teddy Bear" race, which caused a huge amount of laugher from the large crowd of parents, grandparents and friends.
After all the races were finished the children were given an ice-cream provided by the Friends' Association. Certain sports staff felt it important to sample the ice cream to make sure it tasted OK. It did!
