After last week's narrow defeat at Taunton, Plymouth College's football team have turned their fortune around with a 5-0 win over Kelly College.
Dan Salman's game plan was followed brilliantly in a fine, flowing game, contested in excellent spirit by both teams. Goals were scored by Conall Thorneycroft, Charles Connaris, Steven Rogers and Brian Chan (2).
Known as being a strong rugby-playing school, this was Plymouth College's second competitive football match in about 100 years!
"We have run an after-school football club for about five years but have only started playing against other teams this term," said coach, Dan Salman. "I am delighted with how the boys played and hopefully there will be many more great games like this to come."
