Three Plymouth College swimmers and three OPMs have been chosen to swim for their nations in this summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Geoff Butler, 18, will swim for the Caymen Islands, Charlotte Atkinson, 17, for the Isle of Man while Olympian, Jamila Lunkuse (pictured), 17, will swim for Uganda. All three are part of the school's elite athlete programme and are studying for their AS/A Levels.

Former Plymouth College pupil, Ben Proud, 19, has made the England team. The British 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle record holder is now studying at Plymouth's University College of St Mark and St John. Now at Stirling University, Scottish record holder, Sian Harkin, 19, will swim for Scotland while Bath University's, Calum Jarvis, 22, will swim for Wales.

Swimming at the Commonwealth Games takes place at Tollcross International Aquatic Centre from 24th to 29th July 2014.
