Year 2 enjoyed an informative and action packed day at Buckland Abbey with story teller Steve Manning.
Having learnt about Tudor costumes, the children then dressed up to tour the house and listened to stories from the Drake era.
The day was completed with making replica Tudor maps and creating a freeze frame scenario from part of Drake's life.
