Held at Brickfields Athletics Track, Senior Sports Day was a brilliant afternoon in the sunshine.
Poppy Tank set a new school record of 2mins 32.6s in the Open Girls 800m, knocking nearly 7 seconds off the previous record. Emily Ackford set a magnificent new school record in the Open Girls 1500m, winning in a time of 4m 55.13s, a full 30 seconds quicker than the time set last year.
Emily earned herself the Victrix Ludorum for the performance of the day closest to the national record. The Victor Ludorum was won by Matthew Green who blitzed his way down the 100m track in a time of 11.06s, just 0.16s outside the school record.
The house cup was won by Palmers who narrowly held off Dales in a close points finish. Third was Chaytors and 4th was Sargents.
