As one of their recent History topics, the theme of Vikings was very fitting for the Year 3 summer concert.
With some dressed as Viking characters and others as Gods, the children started the concert with a group violin piece - learning the violin has been a new class lesson this year.
They then told the story of how Vikings lived through words and songs. Each pupil said a few lines about different jobs that they might have done like farmer, soldier, builder, blacksmith and other craftsmen.
Headmaster, Chris Gatherer, congratulated everyone who took part, saying, "Year 3 sang beautifully and I was delighted to hear the progress they are making with the violin."
