On a bright and sunny day Year 2 children from Plymouth College Preparatory School were very excited to be visiting Langage Farm.
After learning about the company, the children dressed up in protective clothing ready to tour around the working factory. They enjoyed seeing ice cream being made and tasting it straight off the production line as well as experiencing life in a fridge and freezer!
After lunch and more ice cream, everyone walked to the dairy farm where Farmer Boris showed the children a working farm. They saw the milking parlour and new baby calves, including one that had been born that morning. The children thoroughly enjoyed walking and splashing in muddy puddles before returning to school.
