Talented Plymouth College athlete, Coral Hays, 14, has won the young riders competition at the Horse of the Year Show in Nairobi, Kenya.
This was Coral's first competition riding on her new horse, Walvis Bay. She won the two-round 1.10m event on six faults, achieving a clear round in the second round.
Coral took part in the competition just a week after representing Kenya in the Confederation of African Junior Swimming Championships in Zambia.
The multi-eventer, who boards at Plymouth College, is a modern pentathlon and swimming scholar.
