Year 2 become pizza chefs for the day

As part of their Food and Farming topic, the children in Year 2 at Plymouth College Preparatory School visited Pizza Express to experience making pizzas first hand.

After learning how to make dough balls, all the children made their own margherita pizza. The children had great fun trying to spread the passata across the pizza base without any implements! Cheese and herbs were then sprinkled on top. Eventually everyone was able to eat their creations.

All the children proved to be budding master chefs as there were empty plates all round!
